The name of SEO Elite software is well known in the SEO industry. This is perhaps the most aggressively marketed product on the web. Besides the 16 screens long sales pitch on the official website you can find tons of same or even more aggressive style affiliate ‘reviews’ made by people who didn’t even bother to check whether the software is working.

Whenever you see a review with ‘SEO Elite is a scam’ or ‘Don’t buy SEO Elite’ type of title, don’t fall for it. I bet my arm it’s another affiliate who’s after your attention and money. The funny thing, many of them don’t even bother to argue the point made in the title. The well-known copywriting technique of making a controversial statement in the title and proving it wrong in the article has been boiled down to a lazy affiliate’s way to grab your attention with something completely unrelated to the text message. In most cases, instead of a critical review you’ll get yet another ton of hype and ungrounded praise for this SEO software urging you to open your wallet.

Why most SEO Elite reviews are scams.

Now I’ve been in the SEO industry long enough to learn that there are no get rich quick schemes, no shortcuts and no magic wands that will earn you thousands of bucks overnight while you’re sipping beer on the couch. And the products that claim to do so are screaming outright scam to me, and that’s what SEO Elite basically does, both on their site and in affiliate reviews.

In reality it turns out that the software is buggy and outdated, the customer support is poor and the money back guarantee is just a pain in the rear to claim. Another curious thing is that the product is pushed both as the ‘Grand daddy of SEO software’ and as the ‘New SEO software’. Obviously it can’t be both at the same time.

Why Do they Do This?

The answer is simple. For money. Affiliates earn a good commission each time they find another SEO guru wannabe looking for a quick buck.

Where can you find a true SEO Elite review

One of the first and most influential people to expose SEO Elite was Aaron Wall. In his SEO Book blog Aaron stated that most of SEO Elite testimonials are fake. This blog post sparked up a heated conversation with a lot of commenters jumping in to defend SEO Elite, claiming it’s a great product and even calling Aaron names. Later it turned out these comments were fake as well. Someone even checked the IP the comments came from and the footprints seemed to lead to Brad Callen himself, the creator of the software. I don’t claim it was him as I didn’t check it myself, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

So if you’re evaluating SEO software and are looking for SEO Elite reviews, you need to get your ‘spam detectors’ working hard to be able to tell a real review from the fake affiliate pitch. In most cases it’s not that hard after all.
